One day gone.

I reckon I’ll sleep pretty well tonight. Find my notes from the day:

Preliminary plans for opening core for external contribution.

Preliminary plans for the new build system that opening core will require.

Preliminary plans for building secondary architectures for Fedora, which will be pretty key from a Red Hat business perspective as well.

Note that all of these plans are preliminary. We need to discuss these proposals with the Fedora community — with the Fedora Extras steering committee in particular, since these changes will expand their responsibilities pretty significantly. Personally, though, I think we’re ready.

More excitement on Day 2. If it’s anywhere near as productive as today was, I’ll be delighted.

Today may have been the most important day ever in the history of Fedora. I’m totally not kidding.

One day gone.
