Hello, Fedora 9.

The upgrade from Fedora 8 using preupgrade was almost — *almost* — smooth as silk.

I ran preupgrade from my laptop using wireless. Packages downloaded fine. I rebooted. Anaconda came up fine, went through package installation, went through system configuration… and then said “downloading packages again” (or something to that effect) and asked me to set up eth0. Which sent me scrambling to connect directly to my mother-in-law’s cable modem, thereby disrupting wireless to the whole house.

But a minor hiccup, to be sure. I’m very happy with my spiffy Fedora 9 system. PackageKit rocks my world.

Someone knowledgeable, please advise: should I file this preupgrade hiccup as a bug?
